The Perfect Beachy Waves:
- The night before you want to work these waves, wash your hair (like you would regularly) brushing it afterwards so it is tangle free.
- When hair becomes damp (not wet or dry!) add a small amount of wave-enhancer (can be purchased at a drug store or beauty supply store) from your hair roots to hair tips.
- Separate hair into about six sections (more sections= tighter, smaller waves, less sections= less, looser waves)
- Braid each section of hair (loose braids= softer waves, tight waves= crimped waves). Sleep with the braids in your hair (or leave them in for ten or more hours).
- The next day, if hair is not completely dry (check by sticking your finger into the middle of your braid, if it is ready it will be dry in the center) blow dry your hair until it is. Remove braids gently and enjoy!
